Catholic Scripture Studies -
Revelation
The Nativity BVM Catholic Scripture Study group is about to embark on a new study: The Book of Revelation, one of the most mysterious, symbolic, and indeed controversial books of the Bible. All are welcome to join.
We meet most 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month in the Msgr. Paa Room from 7 to 9 PM.
Join us, beginning Wednesday, March 27 at 7 PM, as we "unveil" (we will explain this pun at our first lesson) the mysteries contained in this book. No prior Biblical knowledge is required, only a thirst for growing closer to Jesus.
This in-depth study authored by Dr. Scott Hahn and Mark Shea (see www.CSSProgram.net) provides the basis for this class. Insightful questions and supplemental readings from the Catechism, Church teachings and saints, as well as books such as "Coming Soon" by Dr. Michael Barber, aid in reflection and life application.
For questions or further details, please contact Dave or Loretta Schabel at (716) 440-3020. You're welcome to just show up at our next gathering!
