Kindergarten and Grade 1 had a beautiful day to enjoy the Buffalo Zoo yesterday. We are grateful to our chaperones, teachers, and Mrs. D'Angelo for making field trips possible for our students! First hand experiences are important - if you would like your child to go to a school that values field trips, call St. MAry School at (716)689-8424.

Rachel treated the 3rd grade class to an editable art day! Students were challenged to create all from food , stained glass window, jewelry and creative creatures! Thank you Rachel 's parents for supporting our Spring for Success Auction! It was a delicious day in the Art room!

Due to the air quality alert issued for today, and for the safety of our children and adults, there will be no outside PE or recess.

Our varsity soccer bees (grades 7-8) will have a strong base next year, even though they are saying goodbye to three graduating 8th graders (in blue). Go Bees!

Mrs. Bishop took her 3rd grade Religion class to the chapel today to pray the Litany of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The Church dedicates the month of June to the Sacred Heart.

Others need your help! More volunteers are needed for our parish Day of Service this Saturday, June 10. Details here: https://www.stmaryswormville.org/article/1135927

A few days ago the second graders were able to color the last square on their Easter Season calendar! Throughout the season, they enjoyed keeping track of all 50 days, and were excited to color the picture for Pentecost!

St. Mary School fifth graders are developing as Disciples of Christ. They enjoyed spending some quiet time in the church yesterday during Religion class. Students read Ephesians 4: 1-16 (âLive a life worthy of the calling you have receivedâŚâ), then completed a personal reflection on their own special gifts and talents.

Many more disciples are needed to make an impact on St. Mary's Day of Service, âSaturday, June 10, 2023. Please join us in service to others.

Our third grade class had a birthday party today, to celebrate the birthday of the Church this Sunday at Pentecost. Students learned how the Holy Spirit is like the air in a balloon; we canât see it, but we know itâs there. We also opened âgifts,â that represented the Gifts of the Holy Spirit.
