Grade 3 visited an old friend, Fr. Bryan Zielenieski, at St. Stanislaus church today in Buffalo! Fr. Bryan helped the students get excited for their 1st Holy Communions this Spring with a teaching Mass. Thank you Fr. Bryan, our students always love to see you!

Congratulations to our SMS students who received a virtue award for the month of March today! Students were recognized for displaying the virtue of meekness. “Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth” (Matthew 5:5)
Grade 2 led us in the liturgy at school Mass today. Father Tom spoke in his homily about how events like the eclipse, an earthquake, or people's actions either show the order of God's plan for the universe and our lives, or the chaos that exists without His presence.

Before Easter Recess, SMS 4th and 5th graders took a field trip to the Herschell Carousel Factory Museum in North Tonawanda. Students were able to see a historical side of STEM while at the museum, learning about everything from a band organ’s use of binary coding, to the network of simple machines that make up a 1916 carousel!

SMS students enjoyed a SNOWBALL FIGHT on this sunny, 65 degree day! Grades K and 4 won the opportunity to face all of our priests & principal in a snowball free-for-all by selling the most "Snow Me the Money" tickets per student for our HSA cash raffle this winter. Congrats!
