This is a monumental year for our Sacred Heart of Jesus Outdoor Shrines located in Bowmansville (town of Lancaster), NY. Two shrines combine to make up the major components of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Shrine: Our shrine to the Lady of the Immaculate Conception (commonly referred to as Our Lady of Lourdes) will be celebrating 100 years in May 2026 and in June of 2027, the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus Shrine will celebrates its 100th anniversary!
In celebration, many additional spiritual events have been planned at our Parish and Diocesan* Shrine for 2026 and 2027. Sacred Heart's new Calendar of Events brochure gives you a snapshot of all the wonderful spiritually enriching opportunities we have planned. A sponsorship program has been set up to help us offset the additional expenses of hosting all these spiritual events at the Shrine. In addition to Sacred Heart's monthly First Friday and First Saturday Devotions, the 100th Anniversary Celebration will kick off this May with three (3) major spiritual events to which all are invited:

Friday, May 29 @ 6:00 PM: Our Lady of Lourdes Virtual Pilgrimage - 100th Anniversary Grotto Celebration
Saturday, May 23 @ 4:00 PM: Pentecostal Vigil Extended Mass
