World Day of Migrants & Refugees

World Day of Migrants & Refugees - Sunday, September 25, 2022

"Building the Future with Migrants and Refugees”
is the theme chosen by the Holy Father for the 108th World Day of Migrants and Refugees (WDMR). Pope Francis highlights the commitment that we are all called to share in building a future that embraces God’s plan, leaving no one behind.

It has been ten years since the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program was created through executive action. This program has given hope to many Dreamers, but DACA recipients continue to lack access to permanent legal status, and their future in the United States remains uncertain. As one way to participate in National Migration Week, urge Congress to move forward with creating a pathway to permanent legal status for Dreamers today.
